ANSWERS:
- How long will the INTEX floating LED pool light stay on after a full
charge?
INTEX floating pool light will
provide light for up to 4 hours after a full charge. Illumination time may vary
based on how long the unit was charged and how old the batteries are.
- How long does it take to charge my INTEX floating pool light?
It takes approximately 10 hours
for a full charge. We strongly recommend you to leave the INTEX floating pool light
on its charger between uses, this will not damage your light and it will be ready
for use anytime you need it.
- How far can light from my INTEX floating pool light travel under water?
The INTEX floating pool light
is designed for the use for all INTEX pools, in clear water it will light round
INTEX pool up to 18’ in diameter.
- What if my pool is larger than 18’ in diameter, a large rectangular
or oval pool? Can I use INTEX pool light?
Yes, even in a large pool the
light will brighten up the water. If you would like to light the whole pool you
may need two or more intex pool lights.
- Can I use INTEX floating pool light in an in-ground pool?
Yes.
- Can I use the INTEX floating pool light in other environments?
No, the INTEX floating pool
light is designed for the residential pool use only.
- How many charges will I get from my INTEX floating pool light?
The Intex floating pool light
is designed for approximately 500 recharges. Please follow the recharging procedure
on the Owner’s Manual.
- How long does the LEDs last before needing replacement?
The LED lights can last for
more than 50,000 hours. However, the life of the product is limited by the other
factors.
- Will the INTEX floating pool light break if I drop it accidentally
or if it falls from a shelf, table or counter?
Under most circumstances, no.
The Intex pool light is designed to withstand most falls of less than 3 feet. Breakage
due to falls is not considered a manufacturing defect therefore it is not covered
under the warranty.
- Do I have to worry about my children playing with my INTEX floating
pool light under water?
No. The INTEX floating pool
light is waterproof for depths up to 3 feet for 24 hours.
- What happens if I leave my INTEX floating pool light in the pool all
week long without turning it off?
It will not harm to your INTEX
floating pool light. Fully recharge the unit and use it according to the Owner’s
Manual.
- What should I do if the batteries in my INTEX floating pool light fail
or the LEDs burn out?
If it is within the warranty
period please contact your INTEX Service Center (see Intex Service Center Locations
section in the Owner’s Manual) (see Limited warranty in owner’s manual).
- What is the warranty period of INTEX floating pool light?
It has a limited warranty of
one (1) year from the date of the initial retail purchase. Keep your original sales
receipt with Owner’s Manual, because proof of purchase will be required and must
be accompanied with warranty claim.
- How should I dispose of my INTEX floating pool light?
The INTEX floating pool light
contains recyclable batteries which should be properly disposed of; the rest may
be disposed of in a normal fashion. Contact your local government for instructions
on battery disposal in your area.
- Why does the indicator light turn on and off after recharging for 7
hours?
This is a built-in safety feature
which prevents overheating. It does not harm the device.
- Why is it foggy inside the casing after recharging?
This is normal; due to a temperature
differential some fogging may occur, it does not affect the unit.
- How should I clean my INTEX floating pool light?
Your INTEX floating pool light
should be cleaned with hot soapy water; do not use any strong cleaners this might
cause the casing to cloud.
- What should I do for storage after the swimming season?
Charge and store the product
in doors at temperatures between 41 degrees Fahrenheit and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

- What should I do to protect the batteries during storage?
The product should be fully
charged before storage, and should be recharged every two months if it is not continuously
plugged in. Otherwise, it will gradually damage the battery capacitance.
